Off Topic 001: Why?

Hello there internet.
I am a 20ish year old media enthusiast with little/no prior blogging experience.
I've started this blog as an experiment in writing and as a way to "remember" my experiences watching films and those I enjoyed or disliked.

I intend to write a short comparison between the film recently watched and others and a short plot summary; while avoiding spoilers.

My main genres of choice are Sci-fi + Horror, although anything that can hold my attention is usually a winner. I'm also a bit of a sucker for Noir style films and anything with a good romance subplot.

Also I adore Nicolas Cage.
